Cannot uninstall JAVA with Error 1723... 無法移除 JAVA 錯誤 1723

Issue: when you want to uninstall/reinstall java from control panel, it shows error:
問題: 移除 JAVA 時出錯 Error 1723，重新安裝 JAVA 也一樣。

Error 1723. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.  A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run.  Contact your support personnel or package vendor.



Solution 解決方法:

Step 1. download Windows Installer CleanUp, unzip it and click msicuu2.exe to install

步驟一. 下載 Windows Installer CleanUp 工具，解壓縮後點擊 msicuu2.exe 安裝

Step 2. run Windows Install Clean Up and select Java items to remove.
步驟二. 執行 Windows Install Clean Up 程式，並選擇 JAVA 相關項目進行移除.

Step 3. reinstall java again, it should be works now.
步驟三. 重新安裝 JAVA，此時應該可正常安裝了。
